This game was made for Ludum Dare 35. The theme for this jam was “Shapeshifters”
We made this game with our friend Oscar Morales (@moraleszez).
Shapeshifters and the Moon Adventures was heavily inspired on the game FTL. In the game, you control a party of young ascendants while they travel to become one with the moon.
The game shows a map with connected locations with a random events. In each event the player can choose from a list of available actions. The objective is to reach the end of map with at least one member of the party alive.
Some locations can give( or take) food or money, while others can transform a party member to a wild animal. Having different animals in your team can unlock additional actions for the events.
There are also fights in some locations which are turn base battles.
